We offer an empowering 8-week sewing program for unemployed women in Africa, guiding them from a place of no skills to the threshold of opportunity. Providing these remarkable women with a hand-up in life, they embark on this journey often without prior sewing experience. After eight weeks of nurturing and skill-building, they take an exam; upon success, they become part of our non-profit venture, Mthungo, crafting beautiful items to sell and forge their own income. For every purchase the funds cover the cost to make your African treasure and provide the lady that made your item
