ABOUT US
Our story
We’re an organisation passionate about making a sustainable difference.
In 2005 volunteers of GVI wanted to help and support a local community in Guatemala that was hit with devastation after Hurricane Stan swept the community. GVI as a volunteer organisation supported the establishment of the GVI Trust to allow alumni and friends of GVI to support the communities of Guatemala and other projects world-wide through donations and fundraising. From 2005 The GVI Trust was firmly established and has gone from strength to strength and now supports over 50 different projects worldwide. In 2020 to celebrate our 15 years of actioning change around the world we changed our name to Action Change but our mission and work remains the same.
We are dedicated to working on sustainable development projects by assisting our local, and long-standing, project partners and community members. Our aim is to build awareness and projects that tackle global issues locally.
